Screenhog Blogs Halloween Secrets!
Hi Everyone - Screenhog here.
I hope you're enjoying the dark and stormy version of Club Penguin. I also hope that you've gone exploring to find all of the fun Halloween decorations. The team put a lot of effort into making sure this was a really great Halloween Party!
The party will be ending November 2nd, but before it ends, make sure that you see "Night of the Living Sled 2" -- So many penguins loved "Night of the Living Sled" last year that we gave it a sequel! You can go to the Night Club and the Lighthouse to watch both parts.
One of the biggest secrets of this year's party is the green candle. If you've done the scavenger hunt, you've probably already found the secret passageway...
Oh! And I probably should mention the storm that's blown over Club Penguin this Halloween... it's always cool seeing what Club Penguin looks like in the dark. If you click on the sky in most areas, you'll make lightning flash! And speaking of lightning, there sure seems to be a lot of it in the area of The Dojo...
Let the team know what you think of the decorations at the party.
Until then...Waddle On!

Halloween Party!!
Hello Penguins!
The Halloween Party has started! And with all the possibilities for costumes, it's an awesome chance for you and your penguin friends to let your creativity out!!
Some of you have mentioned that the huge storm that's blowing through Club Penguin is making things look pretty dark and just perfect for Halloween! Even with that storm and the darkness, you still should be able to do the cool scavenger hunt! You can pick up your pumpkin basket at the Snow Forts to get started -- Let us know what you think!
In Other News: The team is thrilled with your excitement around the new Club Penguin toys and the Treasure Book items. We've heard from a lot of you about things that you'd like to see. We love getting your feedback, so keep it coming!

Club Penguin Trading Card Game!
Hello Penguins!
We love how you are having so much fun with the 3rd Anniversary celebrations! Thanks for all the amazing feedback.
Lots of new Club Penguin toys have finally arrived! But there's more to come. I can't say too much yet, but it's something many of you have suggested in the past that the team's been working on. Club Penguin Trading cards will be available soon!
You'll be able to buy the cards in mid-November and the coolest part is that in addition to playing the game with your friends at home, the cards will connect to a brand new multiplayer game coming soon to Club Penguin. With them, you'll be able enter a code into Club Penguin and get on a 'fast path' to master the new game. I'll have more info on the new game coming to Club Penguin soon, but for now here's a sneak peek of the Trading Cards you'll be able to play at home!
Club Penguin Trading Cards will be available mid November at Toys"R"Us - just in time to connect with the newest Club Penguin game. Let us know what you think - and tell us any ideas you have for the cards!!
Until then...Waddle on!

Special Anniversary Event Announcement!
Hello Penguins!
Our 3rd Anniversary Party starts next week, can you believe it!? I wanted to give you an update because this year we have something VERY special planned.
Not only do we celebrate our 3rd anniversary on October 24, but it's also the day the new Club Penguin toys arrive! We didn't want to miss the opportunity to celebrate both at the same time with everyone! So we planned something we hope you'll love!
On October 24 you and your buddies can party online in Club Penguin AND at Times Square in New York!!
Between 3 pm - 6 pm Eastern Standard Time (that's 12-3 Penguin Time) on October 24, you can tune in for the live broadcast from New York and watch it while your partying in Club Penguin with your buddies! There will also be an opportunity to attend the event in New York, however space is very limited.
Visit clubpenguin.com/celebrate for more details on the special anniversary event.
If you can't make it on October 24, don't worry because the online party is being extended this year and will be up ALL weekend! And it will be bigger than any other Anniversary Party! Welcome Brazil!
Hello Penguins!
I have an exciting update today and I wanted you to be the first to know. In the last few years, many of you have requested to be able to play Club Penguin in different languages. We've been working on it and today we launched the first of many new languages: Portuguese! More languages will be coming out throughout the year and we'll let you know as soon as they're ready.
When you login to play, you'll notice you can select a language on the top navigation. Right now you can choose English or Portuguese. If you want to play in Portuguese, select that language, and when you enter Club Penguin EVERYTHING will be in Portuguese. Cool!
To celebrate, here are a few Portuguese phrases --
Welcome = Bem-vindo
Congratulations! = Parabens!
You're cool! = Voce e muito legal!

New Toys Unlock Items Online!
Hello Penguins!
The arrival of the new toys is getting closer (just a little over a week away!) and I wanted to give you an update on something you'll find with your toy when you get one--actually it has been a suggestion from a lot of you in the past.
When you get a toy, you'll find a coin attached to it. The coin is special for a couple reasons: The first reason is because every coin is different so you will definitely want to collect them! The second reason is because there's a code on one side that will unlock special items on your penguin account!
When you enter your code, you will unlock a very special book that will give you access to a lot of all-time favorite items from Club Penguin that haven't been around for a long time AND even some new, never before seen exclusive items that you can only get in this book! It will work the same for all penguins (those with memberships and without memberships).
We can't wait to hear what you think! Let us know what you're hoping to unlock!!

Screenhog Announces New Mission!
Hi everyone! Screenhog here.
The ninth mission is here and we're really excited about it. In most of our previous missions, a problem has happened in Club Penguin, and the assignment is to figure out how to solve it. This time, agents get to truly be spies. I don't want to give too much away, but for part of this mission, members of the PSA will need to do some spy work and get a set of binoculars. During creation, the team had to ask what spy binoculars should look like.
Here are some of the ideas:
I guess it just goes to show you how some of the tiniest things in Club Penguin still have a lot of effort put into them. Let us know what you like about the mission and give us any suggestions you have for future ones.
