Frontierland Is Here

There's so much to do, you won't know where to begin. Here's a partial list:

  • Catch ghosts in the new multi-player Haunted Mansion Game
  • Build your own Splash Mountain Ride
  • Find your way through the Frontierland Mine Maze and reach the top level of Tom Sawyer Island
  • See who's hamming it up on the Mark Twain Steamboat stage

All of this and more is all accessible from the new Frontierland Hub.

Don't forget to take a stroll down Main Street, and be sure to check out the shops; we've done some restocking just for the holidays!

Mickey Is Hiding Again

The all new Hidden Mickey Quest is here. All of the Hidden Mickeys have moved, so get your camera and start clicking. Collect all 50 for a special reward.

Be a Gift Giver

Do you have a friend in VMK who deserves a special gift? Maybe you are worried you won't be able to find them in the game to give it to them, or maybe you want to give it secretly. We have a special item set aside just for this occasion. Let us know who they are and we can deliver it for you.

Here's how it works:

  • Beginning Friday December 9, go to Contact Us and choose the Give-A-Gift option.
  • Tell us the name of the friend you want to give a gift to. Be sure you are giving us the name of their VMK Character and that you spell it correctly. Gifts can't be delivered to invalid names.
  • You may give a gift to as many friends as you like, but a separate entry must be sent for each friend.
  • The cost of 500 credits will be deducted from your credit total for each gift you give. If you don't have enough credits, your gift will not be given.
  • Gifts will be delivered anonymously; your friend won't know you gave it to them unless you tell them.
  • The final date to give a gift is Sunday, December 18.
  • All gifts will be delivered Saturday, December 24.

Mountains of Fun

Now that you can build your own Splash Mountain Ride, we'd like to help you with some know-how. During the weekend of December 16-18 our VMK Hosts will be showing off their River Ride rooms, answering questions and giving pointers.

When:

Friday, 2:00pm-8:30pm Pacfic

Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am-7:30pm, Pacific

Where:

Look for rooms starting with the name River Ride, and owned by a VMK Host. Their names start with HOST.

There won't be a room competition, but we're positive that lots of Players will want to show off their ride building skills, so be sure to visit other river ride rooms and get ideas there too. Don't be afraid to ask the room owner how they did something, but remember that while almost everyone likes to share their expertise, they don't like being copied. Use their ideas and combine them with your own then go build your own masterpiece, and show it off.

VMK Top Tips

Starting this week we will be interviewing a different member of the VMK Staff each week. Pay attention - the answers may prove useful in VMK-hosted trivia games!

Name: VMK_Bingo

Do Players have a "nickname" for you? No but they sing the song all the time: "There was a farmer had a dog and VMK_Bingo was its title oh"

Three favorite pieces of furniture, and why? Grandfather clock (need to know what time it is), Lumiere candle (I just think he is cute) and Ariel's brown treasure chest.

Favorite type of Guest Room? The Jungle Cruise Explorer's Tent. I just love the gorilla, even though the flies make me want to swat them.

Best VMK moment? The day we got our 1 pins; means we were all here from the start.

Favorite place to hang out in VMK? Storybookland! Great place to hide, great seats, and the view of the water is peaceful, (I wish I could see what is in the whale).

If you could wear a different outfit, what would it would be? Jeans! And sneakers, they're easier to walk in than flips!

What one safety tip would you like to share with our readers? Please do not tell anyone you are home alone. It is not a safe practice, and we really do want you to be safe in VMK.
