Hat Month in VMK is almost over. So far we've released the Sorcerer Mickey Hat, the Musketeer Hat and the Peter Pan Hat. Be sure to get your Reversed Baseball Hat, available November 25-27 in the Emporium!

Safety Tips
These are so important that we are repeating them!
- Never give out your personal information. This includes things like where you live, your phone number, instant messenger name, e-mail address, the name of your school, or any other information that could be used to contact you outside of VMK.
- Never tell another Player you are home alone, or where you will be at a certain date or time.
- Always keep in mind that everybody in VMK is a stranger; you have not met them in person and don't know for a fact that they are who they say they are. Be as careful about talking to strangers in VMK as you would be at the mall.
- Don't tell anybody your password or login information.
- Don't use words that are in the dictionary to substitute for words that aren't allowed. Players who use approved words as substitutions for numbers and other disallowed words to try to communicate personal information will be banned from VMK for their own protection.
Remember, Players whose name starts with "CL_" are Community Leaders, and they're here to help you. If you need help finding something or want to know how things work, ask a CL. They're here to help.
Event News
It's holiday time again, so why not join in the fun and take part in our awesome Thanksgiving Quest? We can't tell you too much here, but the Dragon, Yeti, Shrunken Ned, Esmeralda and Captain Blackheart know a lot more. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, each of them will give you a hint to help you find specially named Guest Rooms where they've hidden photo clues.
Sadly, their photos aren't very good. You might have to visit the Guest Rooms to see what they were trying to capture on film. It may be a VMK location, Character, piece of furniture or even something as specific as the color of the item in the photo. When you've worked each of them out, take the first letter of each object and spell out some traditional Thanksgiving food items.
We'll be adding new photo clues each day of the Event; be sure to collect them all. There is one photo clue for each letter in the answer; some letters are used more than once, so there is a different clue for each use of the letter. (hint: there are 16 clues, 16 letters).
In trying to keep the queues as short as possible, we have replicated not only the Guest Rooms that contain the clues, but the clues themselves. If you find one of Yeti's rooms, you have found them all.
Send in your answer through the VMK Help Tool - just choose 'Thanksgiving Quest'. Photos will appear in Guest rooms each day of the holiday, so you can't send in your entry until Sunday when you have seen them all.
We'll pick winners at random, so there's no need to rush. And please, please don't post the answers on any fan sites until the Quest is over, it'll spoil the fun for everyone else.

- 5. Community Leaders and Staff members don't know the answers, so please don't ask them
- 6. Deadline for submitting answers is close of game Sunday, November 27; late answers will not be considered
Best Guest Rooms
Starlight shows how to keep warm VMK-style in her room Star's Winter Cauldron Cottage. The room description claims its a "great place to go when the weather looks fright full" and we have to agree!
Supergirl shows her appreciation of a favorite park ride in Pirates Caribbean: Ride Start. Journey through room after room on this marvelous virtual recreation of a classic and see why we think it deserves some recognition.
Best Game Room
ppiglett is this week's winner of the Best Game Room award. Her version of a popular television game show is a sure hit. One look at Who Wants to be Rich? and you can almost hear someone ask if that's your final answer.
