Is CL_Ziggy a community leader still? I don't think so, but I'm not entirely positive. I think I have him as the new name he got his name changed to, but I can't confirm it. Anyone know? --Becky 15:33 CDT, 07/12/07
Removal of List
The community leader list has been removed, but this page will still exist just in case the system does come back with the same CL_ prefix for names. --Schmoofypage |talk 10:21, 27 October 2007 (CDT)
Now that VMK is closed, is it possible to bring the Community Leader list back? And just put a note at the bottom about what date the CL program was taken away? This was also requested by some VMKFers. Just because the program is gone doesn't mean the page needs to be. . . --GoodPolarGirl 14:03, 15 August 2008 (PDT)
While I can understand that many of the people who gave their time to the community leader program would like to be remembered for their efforts, I don't think a page like this is appropriate for our wiki anymore. I have always been a proponent for the preservation of VMK history, and while I agree that the community leaders were an undeniable part of VMK's past and played many integral roles within the game, I don't think the community leader list should be restored. At the time of its removal, the list was still far from accurate and we can no longer confirm former CL status of players who wish to be added to the list. Having an incomplete list without the ability to prove the status for those who may have been overlooked would only cause problems. Keeping an active list during the period during which the CL program was in use (and status could be proven) was helpful to players hoping to utilize a CL for something such as mediating a trade. However, seeing as this is no longer an issue, I can't see how the benefits of this list can outweigh the potential problems, especially since we can no longer verify CL status. I would propose the removal of this page and links to this page completely.--UpInTheAir 17:59, 15 August 2008 (PDT)
