Description

Here be a Quest of great difficulty, matey! Captain Blackheart hid his treasure well but left not a map. Instead, he set clues around the Kingdom so only the worthy could unearth it. Great wealth awaits the cleverest, strongest, and swiftest souls!

The Invisibility Pin was also available on the In-Park Haunted Mansion Insiders Tour as well as a print-out from VMK, both were discontinued. Also, it was given to high scores in the original pirates of the Caribbean game as a print out, to be returned to WDW or DLR. You could also win the pin in VMK's Hunt for Captain Blackheart's Treasure! Quest.

1) Come ye seekin' adventure and the lost treasure of the famed Captain Blackheart, aye? Begin yer journey at the place where the Captain, his ship, and his treasure first struck ground.


2) From this place, Blackheart journeyed across the Kingdom to find a place to bury his treasure. Walk along the riverbanks. How many faces did he pass?

3) Find a place where colored lamps fill thy sky and the faint glow of lanterns can be seen across the waters.


4) For this task ye shall be needin' pen and parchment. Take down the 6th letter of the name of this room as ye will be needin' it at a later time. Once ye have completed this task, give a hearty "yoho!"


5) A mysterious aura surrounds this Kingdom now inhabited by Captain Blackheart. It seems as though this inexplicable force originates from the gypsy woman. Pay her a visit and see what clues she holds.


6) Take the clue Esmeralda has given and seek out yer treasure.


7) Another clue ye must take: the 14th letter of this room be part of the riddle. After this bit of knowledge has been written down, have ye a seat.


8) Pay close attention now. Captain Blackheart left clues all over the Kingdom and these next few clues be vital to yer hunt for treasure. The small hand on the Fantasyland clock tower points to which number?

13) Add up the numbers from the last 5 clues and find the one place where the total equals the number of letters in the name of the room.


14) Find a dozen jewels left behind by Blackheart. This measly treasure won't throw ye off yer path to the vast wealth awaitin' ye!


15) Shrunken Ned seems to be mighty friendly with the captain, being neighbors and all. Now that ye have gathered yer loot, visit VMK's head salesman and see if ye can barter with him for a hint as to where the treasure be hidden.


16) Mutinous crew indeed! Put yer pillagin' and plunderin' skillfulness to the test with a round of ship battle. Only the boldest, bravest, and those who score at least 575 will continue.


17) Now for a pirate riddle: The treacherous terrain leads to chilling remains. From this ghastly smile flow the waters of the Nile.


18) Thar be miniature skulls grinning up at ye. Collect a handful to ward off curses and ill tidings.


19) Before ye begin on yer way, remember the third letter of the first word in the name of this room. Pirates have invaded this island once belonging to a boy. Find this isle and the second letter of the third word on a plank above a cave.


20) Sparkling Jewels abound in Injun Joe's Cave. How many lanterns set the gems aglitter?

22) The Declaration was no match for the Scarlet Sorceress with her ruby sails. Find a ship with sails of navy and gold. She's a pirating vessel, waving a pair of Jolly Rogers.


23) Show yer own colors by acquiring a Jolly Roger Flag to hoist above yer ship.


24) Ye must know the code before continuing on yer journey. Read the VMK Values. What be the 6th letter in the 6th word in rule number 2? Be sure to write it down.

25) Another riddle has been uncovered: She's a ship with no sails and a masculine name. Find this ferry whose identity be of literary fame.


26) Take note of the 3rd letter of the first word in the name of this room as it be part of a bigger clue.


27) A ditty be what the Captain requires before the next clue be uncovered.


28) Thar be a familiar shape on the ground. After ye pick up 7 pieces, go to where this face can be found.


29) A clue has been left for ye on the maps of VMK. A brunette lass in a yellow blouse with orange shoes appears multiple times across all the maps. She be facing the same direction all but once. Make yer way to the place marquee'd directly above her.


30) What a fine gallery this be. Strange and magnificent depictions hang upon the walls. Demonstrate yer own magic skill by turning into a dark, winged creature!


31) Before ye wing yer way to yer next destination, take down the 13th letter in the phrase above the fireplace. A bushel of apples are set out for a fine meal, indeed. Here ye shall find diners in need of caffeine.


32) A field of clover has cast a spell over these sleepin' citizens. Pick 5 clovers and take the path in the direction they are pointin'.


33) Thar be a sign pointin' the way to a zip-a-dee-do-dah day. Take the 5th letter of the 4th word and write it down. Then go to the room on Main Street that begins with this same letter.


34) Which colored light along the strings of lights appears more often than the others?


35) What color be Captain Hook's trousers as he duels Peter Pan?


36) Now play a game where you can take captives of these two colors. Take 75 prisoners and ye shall pass this task.


37) In exchange for lettin' their companions go free, thar be three spirits that shall give you three clues to where the treasure may be. The first phantom that be awaitin' yer arrival be small in stature and long in the tooth.


38) The next spirit to visit was once a portly man of great wealth.


39) The wisest of the three shall give ye the final clue to let his spirit friends free.


40) The ghosts that inhabit this place and the scoundrels found beneath the peaceful swamps near Lafitte's Landin' have something in common. Go to the place where both attractions were first established.


41) That be an odd lookin' vessel near the river's edge. What be the name of that long-gone attraction?

46) Thar be a sign next to that pole and pail o' fish. What does it read?


47) Take the second letter of the 3rd word on that sign and commit it to memory. Then follow its direction.


48) This maze leads to wondrous treasures. If ye can find yer way to out of Injun Joe's Cave to the top of an island, ye shall find three jewels as a reward.


49) Now rest yer weary feet, ye have traveled far.


50) Stars above, below and all around. Tomorrow brings Quests, high above the ground.


51) The 5th letter of the second word in this room be imperative in your Quest for treasure. Be sure to write it down, matey. This room be where a captain lays his head. But not above the sea, this one be below instead.


52) Another letter to add to yer riddle: From front to back of this room's name, this one is right in the middle. Think ye have uncovered the clue? Say "Aye, aye!"

57) A sly one that Captain Blackheart be. Yer next clue lies in a room that can only be reached by typhoon or blizzard!


58) Read that description of this here room. What be the 5th letter of the 11th word? Be sure to notate it. That was quite a swim ye went fer. Take off them soppin' garments and put on a pair of dry boots.


59) Dead men take no pictures but ye ain't a dead a man! Travel to a place where we can find yerself in a prison cell and remember to smile!


60) Write down the second letter in the first word of this room. Be sure to have yer picture taken before ye leave the room!


61) Thar be a reptile who walks on his hind legs. He may have a hint to divulge.


62) That was unfortunate, him havin' not a clue. Thar maybe some hope yet. Find another room whose name contains a color.


63) Now take a step outside. Ye shall be needin' the 2nd letter of the 2nd word of this area outdoors, so keep that in mind!


64) Commandeer a vessel and navigate down the rivers of Adventureland. Only a score of 45,000 or more will take you to the next task.


65) And now to greet the captain himself. Venture to his quarters and see if he deems you worthy of the final clue!


66) Now take the letters ye have collected and unscramble them to discover the final restin' place of Captain Blackheart's treasure!


67) That Captain Blackheart is clever indeed! He hid is treasure in plain sight! Yer strength, agility, and cleverness have been confirmed! Celebrate with a toast and shout these famed pirate lyrics: "Drink up me hearties, yoho!"
